Images of grandiose landscaping

Hard Times

Now, with the coming of the warmer weather our focus on the house has started to make its way outside. Yet there are still indoor projects hanging over our heads. As of this weekend, our upstairs bathroom took on the appearance of Cherry Cobbler. When it’s completed there will also be hints of Grape Vine and Mother Nature. I feel like Paul Giamatti in Sideways describing some wine he has just drank. Good movie by the way, we saw it this weekend. Outside, piles of pavement mysteriously appeared next to our garage. Now we hope a heavy-duty truck and skid steer loader will also appear. Images of grandiose landscaping ideas have been bouncing around in our heads. We have been discussing what to do with the front concrete wall being that it’s leaning more towards the sidewalk than the house. We’ll see what the future brings. All I know, I hope I get a chance to be in the driver seat of the skid steer loader sometime during our yard transformation. That or we’ll wait another year and save our money.
